The Latest Ranking of The Top 5 Mobile Phone
According to the latest data report released by the research agency "Canalys", the global smartphone shipment performance in the first quarter of this year showed a downward trend, indicating that the market is sluggish. Compared with the fourth quarter of 2021 last year, shipments decreased by 11%.
At present, the market share of the top five brands of mobile phones in the world, Samsung Galaxy shipments accounted for 24%, returning to the leading throne of mobile phones. Apple took a back seat with 18%. The third, fourth and fifth places remained the same as in the fourth quarter of last year, with market share of Xiaomi (13%), OPPO (10%) and vivo (8%).
Research announced the top five brands in global smartphone shipments in the first quarter of 2022, with Samsung dominating the list with a market share of 24%.
Canalys analysis pointed out that there are four main reasons for the decline in smartphone shipments in the first quarter, including: the surge in confirmed cases of the global Omicron variant virus, the conflict between Ukraine and Russia, the rolling lockdown of China's zero epidemic policy and the threat of inflation, and the high degree of uncertainty at the supply chain, resulting in a further slowdown in market demand in the traditional off-season.
Looking ahead to the second quarter of the first half of this year, the improvement of parts shortages is expected to accelerate than expected, which will ease the cost burden on manufacturers.
